The game of Marvel Battlegrounds is a fast action brawler and information had to be clear and quick to understand. There were many indicators on a character such as a Life meter, Super meter, an indicator to show when a Power Disc ability could be used, and a VFX to show when your Super ability could be used.
While none of these were used for the final release of the game, I really enjoyed exploring these. I looked at the eye catching arcade logos of 90s past such as Marvel VS Capcom, or Power Stone which our game was originally inspired by.

I played a part in helping to design the Front End, as we had the idea to place the characters on a platform or table like you were viewing your Toys to Life figures on your actual table in real life. I applied the Marvel Battlegrounds aesthetic to it then.
